Have a pint of Guinness at the Toucan's Pub, Fuengirola, Costa Del Sol

A very warm hello to you all from the Toucan's Pub, Fuengirola on the very warm Costa Del Sol.

So just to update you all with what has been going on at the Toucan's Pub and the Fuengirola's famous Fish Alley. Beginning with the sun, and lots of it!

It must be golfers season at the moment as we have had lots of them around, particularly for us a big group of them from over in Wales. Playing golf in this heat though they surely must be out there early?

We have had some great new friends and some of the regulars over from Ireland in, enjoying the cold beer. The usual weekly regulars from Denmarks and our Crawley, West Sussex friends from England along with new faces. I really must try and remember names better but thanks to you all for visiting and saying hello.

Our bar in Fuengirola is air conditioned and nice and cool thanks to London Cool, we have a warm/cool door air curtain air conditioning system in the bar with an extractor fan out the back to draw the cool air over both Sue and I and the fridges that keep your beers and drinks cold.

We have a new ice cold Coca Cola display and I have a new Guinness waistcoat to go with the rest of my Guinness collection of memorabilia here at the bar in Fuengirola.

Remember we are a 100% disability friendly pub, with wheelchair access and a wider wheelchair accessable toilet.

Our Sangria has a health warning but after a hot day at the beach it is lovely to have a glass of it cold. Our Fuengirola pub also has spanish largers on draft along with bitter and stout and also bottled beers if you prefer. Of course we have the thing we are most famous for - Guinness.

So after a hot day on the beach or after walking around Fuengirola for the day, pop in for a cold Coca Cola, beer, Guinness or Sangria. We look small on the outside but there is lots of space and plenty of seats indoors.

Our charity collection for sick animals in the Malaga area has currently raised over 2000 euros, so we would like to thank everyone that has supported us with buying the second hand books and donating the ones we have inside the Toucan Pub. The selection is still there and there is something for everyone.

Hello all, its been a while.  The sun has been shining in Fuengirola and at the Toucans Pub we have had many visitors from all over Europe recently, visitors to Toucans bar coming in for a cold beer, great Guinness or we have a large range of all drinks have been Danish Dansk Swedish Svensk folk fra Norge Suomi Germans Deutsch meine Damen und Herren and of course Spanish English and Irish visitors to Fuengirola Costa Del Sol.


This weekend we welcome a group visiting Fuengirola and of course Toucan's Pub from Belfast, Northern Ireland and our regulars from London Cool www.londoncool.com, who assisted in putting in the air conditioning to our bar in Fuengirola.

Toucans Pub Bar inside Guinness memorabilia

Hi all check out some of my Guinness memorabilia at the Toucan Pub Fuengirola, I have lots more Guinness stuff all over the pub so pop in say hello and take a look.  This is my last blog before St Patrick's Day, remember we open at 12 noon and are located just off Fish Alley Fuengirola in Calle Oviedo behind the hotel El Puerto which is on the Paseo/sea front.  Map below -

We are also doing half price Irish Coffees as well as what I am told is a very good pint of Guinness, half price Guinness to for the 17th March.  We have a wheelchair ramp and disabled toilet.  The weather for Fuengirola, Malaga this weekend looks great to and as we are open all day pop in many times if you are out for a stroll.

Toucans Bar is open today normal hours but Saturday 17th March, St Patrick's Day the bar is open all day and all night from noon.  So remember Irish Coffees and Guinness half price.

Countdown to St Patricks Day Fuengirola

Counting down to St Patrick's Day at Toucans Pub Fuengirola.  We have Guinness on sale at half price all day and we open at 12 noon, what time will we shut?  Who knows eh?  Toucans Bar welcomes everyone to come in have a drink and a chat.

Toucan's Bar Fuengirola

Hello all and welcome to the first blog of the Toucans Pub or the Toucans Bar in sunny Fuengirola.  Over the next few weeks this blog will grow and hopefully you will find it informative.  We have a Facebook page to and again this will be linked.
So a brief introduction - the Pub is run by Bruce Sinfield and his wife Sue.  We are a friendly pub and we have been in Fuengirola for a long time.
We have wheelchair access and we are a wheelchair friendly pub with a wider door disabled toilet for wheelchair access.  We may look small on the outside but we have a larger area in the pub.
I know we need some pictures and a good design for this blog, but its coming!
Bruce has built up a large selection of mainly Guinness memorabilia, along with other pub type memorabilia too.  Guinness is the theme in the Toucan, in fact people travel to Fuengirola from Scandinavia, Ireland, the Uk and from other parts of Malaga and Southern Span for a pint of Guinness from the Toucan Pub Fuengirola.  Our toilets are clean and well maintained. Bruce and Sue look after the beers well.
Our opening hours for the summer of 2012 which has started now are on our Facebook page and we will put them on here soon.
You can find us just up from the Paseo Maritimo in Fuengirola in Calle Oviedo.  Basically behind the round Hotel El Puerto, cross the famous Fuengirola fish alley and there we are.  The naked boobs on the statue on the Paseo point the way!
So dont walk past, especially if you would like a lunchtime beer or drink, just like most pubs around the world at lunchtime we are not always busy!  Come an introduce yourselves and have a chat.
